ACTUALITéS > STEELER NG43 OFFSHORE ELECTED EUROPEAN POWERBOAT OF THE YEAR 2016

STEELER NG43 OFFSHORE ELECTED EUROPEAN POWERBOAT OF THE YEAR 2016.

Steeler Yachts wins “Oscar” of international yachting industry for the second consecutive year.

During the Flagship Night at Boot Düsseldorf, Steeler Yachts has again been awarded the prestigious EPY award. It’s the first time in history a Dutch shipyard wins two consecutive years in different categories. Hans Webbink, CEO and owner of Steeler Yachts: “It’s almost unbelievable that the international jury once again awarded us with this honor. This second title is a reward for the entire Steeler team.”
In 2015 the jury praised the innovative strenght of the yard and they put the Panorama 46 Flatfloor on the throne of the European yachting industry. A year later the Steeler NG43 Offshore takes her place. This time, according to the jury report, because she combines comfort, a bespoke design and speed at sensational low fuel consumption. The aluminium construction in combination with Yanmar propulsion enables a 23 knots top speed at just 3,8 litres per nautical mile.

Hans Webbink: “To win twice in a row can normally not be expected and makes us quite proud. We see it as a reward for our team that with so much dedication and passion tries to find new and innovative ways to increase enjoyment of watersports for our customers. A task that demands at times much more than can be expected from our team members. This award is a big thanks to my team.”
