Steeler Long Range 65S "Li-Janne"
Born and raised on Urk, a former island in the Zuiderzee, my life has always been connected to the water in every sense.
As the youngest son in a fishing family, water and adventure were part of my upbringing — and they never left me.
In 2014, we decided to take a family boating holiday. That summer, we rediscovered the freedom of life on the water and the sense of adventure it brings every day.
That experience stayed with us, so we began looking for a yacht of our own.
It had to be strong, safe, and wheelchair accessible for our youngest daughter — yet no traditional builder could meet our needs.
Until we found Steeler Yachts. Their Survey 55 already matched many of our wishes, and they showed what they do best: customer-driven innovation.
Within a short time, the deal was done and the yacht was customized — with a wheelchair lift, adjusted railings, and a mobile shower unit.
Since 2015, our family has enjoyed life on the water to the fullest.
After two seasons, we knew this was more than a passion — it had become our lifestyle. So, in 2016, we commissioned a new yacht designed entirely around our needs: the NG 65 S-line “Li-Janne”.
