Steenwijk, The Netherlands – Steeler Yachts, a prestigious Dutch yachtbuilder based in Steenwijk, has officially taken over the operations of Holterman Shipyard from Meppel, The Netherlands, following its bankruptcy declared last week. This acquisition provides Steeler Yachts with the much-needed production capacity expansion to meet growing demand.

With 16 new motor yachts currently under construction, the strategic location of Holterman Shipyard, just 10 minutes from Steeler’s existing facilities, offers substantial opportunities for further growth in the high-end segment of aluminum and steel-built motor yachts.

Designed around her owners’ specific requirements, she features a unique asymmetric layout with a single side deck, creating the spacious interior volumes of a much larger yacht while maintaining a practical 5.60-metre beam for their cruising plans.
