The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2026 marked an important milestone for Steeler Yachts, with the American boat show debut of our Ocean Explorer 72 Two Bubbles. Following her impressive Atlantic crossing, the yacht attracted significant interest from visitors looking for a long-range, owner-operated explorer yacht. Throughout the show, we welcomed prospective clients and yacht enthusiasts on board to experience the craftsmanship and ocean-going capabilities of the Ocean Explorer range. Two Bubbles will remain in the United States, with private viewings available by appointment for those interested in experiencing her firsthand.
Another highlight of FLIBS was the introduction of our new Ocean Explorer 88 through a detailed scale model. This 88-foot tri-deck explorer combines a range exceeding 5,000 nautical miles with an impressive 7.5-meter beam, offering exceptional interior volume. Key features include a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck, a dedicated spa and wellness area, spacious guest accommodations, and a practical expedition deck with room for two tenders. Designed for extended journeys across the world’s oceans, the Ocean Explorer 88 attracted considerable attention throughout the show.
We would like to thank everyone who visited us during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. It was a pleasure to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new yacht enthusiasts, and share our passion for building custom yachts. We appreciate the interest and conversations throughout the show and look forward to welcoming many of you to our shipyards in the Netherlands.
While Two Bubbles was making her American boat show debut, another milestone was reached at our shipyard in the Netherlands. The steel hull of our second Ocean Explorer 72 was successfully turned, marking an important step in construction. With the hull now upright, the project moves into its next phase, bringing another custom-built Ocean Explorer closer to completion.
