Delivered: The First Ocean Explorer 67

Steeler Ocean Explorer 67

The project began following BOOT Düsseldorf 2024, when an experienced sailing couple approached Steeler with the ambition to continue their world passagemaking aboard a motor yacht. They appreciated the generous interior volume of the Ocean Explorer 72, yet their cruising plans required a maximum beam of 5.60 meters.

To meet this challenge, the design team adopted an asymmetric layout—a proven concept in long-range cruising that reclaims valuable interior space by incorporating a single side deck. The result is an exceptionally spacious main deck, offering the comfort and openness of a much larger yacht.

The interior, designed by Annemarie Dottinga and Pim Dijksman, embraces a warm, contemporary aesthetic, where rich walnut finishes are complemented by soft natural textures and a carefully curated palette of warm neutrals, teal accents, and subtle copper details, creating an inviting atmosphere for life on board.

Built on Steeler’s proven Ocean Explorer platform, the yacht features a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, powered by twin MAN D2676 LE484 engines producing 290 kW each. Accommodations include three staterooms, three bathrooms—including a day head—and a dedicated crew cabin, making the Ocean Explorer 67 ideally suited for comfortable long-range cruising.

Following her successful delivery, the Ocean Explorer 67 is now preparing for her world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, where visitors will have the opportunity to experience the latest addition to Steeler’s Ocean Explorer range firsthand.
